Here’s how the process works
You are in need of a translation English <> German? Below, you’ll find all the information that is important for the smooth execution of your translation project.
If you require additional services, such as editing or proofreading, I’ll discuss the process with you for each project.

- In urgent cases, please call me in advance (+49 163 1613392) to confirm my availability for your project.
- I’ll gladly sign an NDA in advance. Of course, I will treat your data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory provisions.
Request a quote
To prepare a quote, please provide me with the following:
- Your text: Send the document by email in an editable format (e.g. Word) or as a clear, readable scan or photo. Alternatively, you can deliver it by post, courier or hand it in at my office (appointment required). You can also upload your files to my service through a secure data connection.
- Contact details: Include your address and contact information, as I may need to clarify some specific points before preparing the quote.
- As much relevant information as possible. Please share:

Target country
Purpose of the translation
Target audience
Desired delivery date
Preferred delivery method
- Reference material: If you have supplementary documents, such as earlier versions, glossaries, or documents with helpful terminology, please include them.
Once I’ve reviewed your material, you’ll receive a detailed quote (usually by email).
Translation and delivery
- After you’ve confirmed the project in writing, I will translate your texts and deliver the translation on time in the agreed format.
- If I have any questions during the translation, I will consolidate them to avoid unnecessary interruptions for you. Please indicate a contact person (if applicable).
- Your feedback on the project is always appreciated as it helps me to continually improve my services.
Of course, I’ll incorporate your wishes and requirements as well as possible during the translation process.

Pricing
My pricing is based on the German law governing the remuneration of experts, translators, interpreters in the legal field (Justizvergütungs- und Entschädigungsgesetz, JVEG). You’ll always receive a transparent and customised quote that reflects the scope of your project.
